I grew up in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, and basketball has always been a part of my life. My dad’s been a college and NBA coach for as long as I can remember, so I grew up around the game and naturally gravitated toward it. My high school recruiting process was slow — I had some Division III and Division II interest, but very little Division I attention. When my dad was coaching at Saint Joseph’s, I decided to come here as a walk-on. He recently left to join the New York Knicks, but I’ve stayed and earned a scholarship. I chose Saint Joe’s not just because of my family connection, but because I wanted to challenge myself, both as a player and as a person.By competing with and against great players every day I see myself getting better everyday and learning new ways and giving myself competition to get to the next stage.
At The Shipley School before college, I really grew as a player and as a leader. I was known for playing hard on both ends of the floor and putting the team first. During my senior year, I averaged around seven points and seven rebounds a game and helped lead our team to the 2022 Spartan Classic championship. My time at Shipley taught me the importance of consistency, communication, and competing every day — lessons that prepared me for the jump to college basketball.
My time at Saint Joseph’s has been a journey of growth, patience, and belief. When I first joined the program, I knew the challenge that came with playing Division I basketball. I started as a walk-on with the mindset that every day was a chance to earn something — a role, respect, or even just the trust of my coaches and teammates. Over time, that work paid off, and earning a scholarship became one of the moments I’m most proud of in my life.
Playing here has pushed me to grow far beyond the court. I’ve learned how to handle adversity, stay consistent through ups and downs, and compete with purpose. Every practice, every game, and every lift has taught me how to stay focused on improvement — not just for myself, but for the team. Being surrounded by talented players and dedicated coaches has made me sharper and more self-aware. Representing Saint Joseph’s means something special to me. It’s not just about basketball it’s about being part of a community that values work ethic, accountability, and pride. I take that seriously every time I put on the jersey. My journey here has been built on effort and belief, and I’m grateful to keep writing my story as part of this program.
